Join us on March 26 to explore Tracy Renewable Energy's (TRE) innovative SteamBoy distillation system. Powered by biomass boilers, this system treats and processes 400,000 gallons of contaminated water daily.
The SteamBoy distillation process generates pure, pressurized steam, which is then used to remove moisture from agricultural products, turning them into high-value ingredients for animal feed. The TRE facility also houses an 8 MW biomass-powered electricity plant, fueled by walnut shells.
An inaugural member of the Tracy Green Business Network, TRE was recently recognized by Tracy Earth Project and the Tracy Chamber of Commerce for its sustainability best practices.
