Tracy Renewable Energy(TRE) integrates waste biomass, cutting edge technology and sustainable practices through its "Steamboy" distillation process. This process:
Reduces pollution and waste with less reliance on disposing of contaminated water, water reuse of water, and less transport of wastewater.
Provides renewable energy by burning biomass waste from nut harvesters to supply power for local grid and facility usage.
Supports the agricultural economy by drying agricultural by‑products and turning them into animal feed and other useful products.
Lowers carbon emissions by utilizing biomass, and generating green hydrogen.
California’s groundbreaking climate legislation is aimed at reducing short-lived climate pollutants, specifically methane generated from organic waste in landfills. But complying with SB-1383’s organic waste recycling and edible food recovery mandates can be confusing for businesses.
